Design votes!

Jeffrey Shell likes my site’s navigation. George Donnelly seconds it.

Jeffrey and George joins Sachin Nair. Sachin had nice words to say after the last redesign, but his old blog is gone now.

I particularly like the layout and implementation, because:

• The layout is completely in CSS. May be I’ll provide an alternate CSS that doesn’t have so many colors.
• Font size is not fixed. Well, design breaks at very large font settings. I believe people make fonts that large, only if they have a really bad accessibility issue. If that is the case, design should take a back seat to accessibility.
• Width is liquid.
• Not a single image used in the layout. No tricks with spacer gifs.
• Other than popups and some photo album related stuff, Javascript is not used.
• As of today, I’ve around 900 pages. I (like to) think (that) navigation is easy enough to get to what you want.
