Yesterday, got my new shiny PDA, Toshiba e355. Amazon has a pretty good $100 discount on it and free shipping. I think it is a pretty good deal for $199.
Still playing with it. It is not as easy to carry around as my old gone with the wind Treo 90. But the screen is slick.
The cradle is a bit too tight. This PDA has a scroller on the top-left side - one needs to be pretty careful not to crush it when you lift it out of the cradle.
Thinking of adding a USB power sync cable (Toshiba or BoxWave), a screen protector and may be an extra memory card.
Hopefully, I get to look into writing some mini J2ME or .Net apps for this one - not for public use, but purely for learning.
Help: any advise on a *free* way to migrate contents from Palm Desktop to Outlook? I got address book transferred by exporting it to Yahoo! address book. I don’t need Calendar to be transferred. What I am looking for is to transfer Notes and Memos.
Is it WLAN-ready 802.11b ( if u buy the card).. Indeed a good deal.
I was looking at ipaq 1945. And ipaq 1910 is listed as 200$ on www.hp.com
But this deal beats both oth them. Any Inpit ?
I am not sure about 802.11b; so far haven't been able to find a card or info for this PDA on this.
