Redesign: Winter 2002

Ok, time for another redesign. This time, to the main site. I wanted to have a colorful scheme because winter is too depressing for me. I had converted my blog to CSS, but not my main site.

I did not get much time to work on this. Instead of waiting to make it perfect, I thought I’ll upload it and fix it as problems come by.

• Text, text and text. Layout is very light.
• Only ONE image in the layout. The curve in the bar.
• Pure CSS. No tables for me.
• Lists for navigation. I still have not figured out how to put embedded lists in two rows as shown in the layout.
• Colorful. I hope not too much.
• Wide layout. No annoying columns. I think this greatly enhances readability.

So, what do you think?

Blog will get a similar facelift. I’ll probably keep the blog layout same, but add a new stylesheet to use the new colors.
