Switch to SCiTE, if you code using Notepad.

If you are used to editing in Notepad and don’t want to experience the joys of VIM or XEmacs, SCiTE is a great choice for you.

Very small, no messing up with registry, color coding, block folding, simple GUI. Did I say small? It is only 200K for Windows.
