Phil Harris has a Python microserver implementation.
I think KnowNow is a technology that can change how intranets work (internet too, but I’m slightly scared about the security). Unfortunately, their event routers are available for only Win2K or Solaris. They’ve good open APIs too.
The link to my knownow library for Python is wrong, I've stopped development of it for now, and KnowNow Corp picked it up.
