Society at war

What will society do when supply of villains dry up?

In US, almost every other story begins with some kind of war.

It might be wise to stop thinking about everything in terms of "good guys" (us) and "bad guys" (them). That is nothing but a mass manifestation of I’m OK, you’re not. An unhealthy principle.

Will that ever happen? I think some societies have grown so used to villains and wars that when the list dries up, they will make up more. It is starting already. Russia - Vietnam - Cuba - Chile - Iraq - al Quieda - Iran - North Korea etc. etc. etc.

  3. This is very simmilar to the language used by Communists in Eastern Europe. They used vocabullary like: war, front, foe everywhere.
