Kaa is a weblogging tool written in pure Python.
You need to have TkInter installed - and you usually have it with Python. I just downloaded Kaa and tried it out. Pretty neat!
At the moment, it supports FTP to publish content. But the code is very nice and can be changed to publish using SCP or RSYNC. I want to see if I get time to add a WYSIWYG editor if IE is present on the client.
Some specifications:
TkBlog, http://home.cogeco.ca/~tsummerfelt1/ is a pure Tcl/Tk blogging tool in similar spirit.
I like the way Kaa is done, and the author was thinking of doing more with "Content Management" which I can't wait to see how he'll pull it off.
Unfortunately, I can't use Kaa (or Radio) as my weblog system having a few computers to work with in differring locations, I need a centralized datastore.
