Developing for J2EE Tomcat

Good lessons on J2EE

A good tutorial for programmers on using J2EE. I’m trying my level best to understand what advantages one can have by not using frameworks like Zope.

If you are a software development shop, I can understand wanting to make your own frameworks. But, if your business is not web or software development, why wouldn’t one try to use extensible frameworks?

  1. It all comes down to money. Zope is great but where are the multipage ads in non tech magazines? How many non geeks, and even developers, really know anything about Zope vs. how many know about J2EE or at least have heard of Java. See the problem.
