Another "helpful" site!

Went to search Google for "Willem DeFoe" and one of the hits was to 80’s movies gateway. I clicked on the link provided by Google - needless to say, a link to a page within the site - and up pops a Javascript window (pop-up a screenshot) that showed a pretty non-intrusive message, reminding me that I didn’t come through the proper way - their home page.

Since it was worded nicely, I didn’t mind it much. But, why do they have to go to such extra lengths just to annoy users?
