I saw Deitel Associates' book Python: How To Program yesterday. Terrific book. Didn’t buy it because the price is way too steep ($74). All books in their "How To Program" series are really good - though all are in $70 range. They explain good and bad programing practices, concepts and tips instead of filling up pages with useless source code. Apart from the price, my only complaint is about the weird colors.
If they come out with a "Designing and Using RDBMS/SQL", I can think of several people who’ll benefit from it!
