Brian Livingston discusses (among other issues) how Windows XP’s license prevents you from using VNC to manage desktop remotely. I think that’ll go for pcAnywhere too.

Brian mentioned in an earlier article that why he doesn’t like XP.

Now, if that is not a clear case of monopoly, what is?

  1. VNC, not ttrue with XP, we are using it just fine at work to remotely manage desktops and laptops
