New iPhone 3G

Got my new iPhone 3G on Friday. First impressions:

• Double click Home to go to Favourites is cool.
• Mute/Unmute or pause/resume via the headphone mike button is nice. I do miss easy navigation buttons to go to next song.
• After a while, the onscreen keyboard doesn’t irritate as much as it used to. Still it can’t beat my old Sony Ericsson M600i’s handwriting recognition.
• Taking screenshot by pressing Home and sleep button is nice
• Doesn’t have the plastic holder kind of stuff that came with my iPod classic - makes it easy to make a DIY dock.
• Very oleaginous! Need to get some kind of plastic cover.
• WiFi access at home is nice - though Safari is not as good (IMO) as Opera Mini. I turned off all data options on my cell - those are terribly expensive and pretty useless in India.
• Doesn’t seem to be able to connect via WiFi to Odyssey server with RSA token. Makes it difficult to use at work.
• Biggest annoyance : Can’t reject an incoming call easily when it is locked! You’ve to press the sleep key twice.
