Cool little utilities make informative wallpapers and screensavers.

For Windows users:

  1. XEarth 1.0: [165k] Port of xearth wallpaper for X-Window. Displays a user customized view of earth, rotating in the background.
  2. MapMaker Sunclock: cool little utility that shows whole load of information about the earth; and is just about the most informative screensaver available.
