Guide to Gandhiji

Echoes of Mahatma

Rediff - “ In a world torn apart by violence, a few dedicated people are using the Net to spread Gandhiji’s message of peace. ”

What can I say? “The greatness of this man, was his simplicity.

It is a good read with a good set of links. I think human race has too much diversity and too much I’m OK, you are not mentality to be at peace with each other.

  1. Well, I am a Gandhi Fan. What I like best about him is his "ability to see the future of India".
    For example :- Ram Rajya.
To most of us this word will mean a peaceful Hindu Kingdom. Actually, Ram Rajya is a misnomer.
When Gandhi, looked at the state of the Western Nations, where rural population migrating to Urban areas is causing fall in the living standards of the people, he decided that this should not happen to India. He conceived the idea of a Nation in which this migration will not be necessary. He thought poor rural Living coditions and non availblity of facilities such as electricity, health care, entertainments and trading and marketing scopes are the main reason for rural migration. Thus the idea of Ram Rajya emerged. Today, passage of time has shown us that what Gandhi forsaw, is the need of the hour for India - for a better, healthier India, Ram Rajya is the only solution.

  2. Gandhi's name will never be forgotten, one of the few people who changed the world without resorting to weopns and war.

"When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall - think of it, ALWAYS" - GANDHI
