MSNBC: “The ozone hole over Antarctica is markedly smaller this year than in the last few years and has split in two, government scientists reported Monday. The so-called “hole,” actually an area of thinner than normal ozone, was measured at 6 million square miles in September. That compares with around 9 million square miles on September measurements over the last six years, according to researchers at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and National Aeronautics and Space Agency.”
Though I work for a conservation organization, I’ve no idea about the scientific details about this.
What if the hole just moves around and populous cities fall under it? The "hole" is probably something that doesn’t move at all. But, if it grows in size, it can’t be good.
I’m sure our generation will be cursed by the future generations for making our beautiful planet inhabitable.
I think that this website is very good but you need to add stuff about the CFCs
I really found the information about the ozone layer depletion to be facinating. It was invigorating to my mind. I love thought provoking work and you have done so. Thank you very much for your work on this site. I apprieciate it a lot. Peace!
I agree with Jessica it needs to be more updated with more scientific facts and CFC's and exact measurements of the hole. THIS SITE NEEDS A LOT OF WORK!
