I agree. Indian news papers covered Daniel Pearl’s story on their front pages. We hardly see news about Indian citizens murdered in Kashmir in these dailies.
What happened to Pearl was wrong and bad and I sympathize with his family. I’m also really ashamed about the news editors of Indian media. In my opinion, news papers are one of the pillars of democracy. In that respect, they not only have a commitment to be profitable, but also have a responsibility towards guiding the country.
