Other things that happened:

  • Frequent sleep deprivation.
  • Blog comment spammers are still going strong. I got fed up and removed comment-posting.
  • Found many interesting things in C++ and Perl.
  • Every other week, I drive from Bangalore to Coonoor (near Ooty) on Saturday mornings and drive back on Sunday evening. I love my car [Fiat Palio 1.9D] -- it is such a pleasure to drive up and down hilly roads. I will post pictures with driving directions after I travel next time.

She weighed around 2.65kgs and looked like this the next day. Mom is also doing fine.

We will need to finalize on a name soon. So, the blog vacation will continue for some more time.

For me, weekends go way too fast in travelling. Weekdays go very quickly at work. Contrary to what John Kerry thinks, not everyone has Net connection at home in Bangalore. Including me.

My wife is now taking a *really long* vacation :-) So, she is not finding it convenient to maintain her blog either.

Hopefully, things should pick up by end of this month. I just realized that it has been 2 months since the last post. Well, you can't call that as a blog, really.

There is another bridge for normal traffic - this is the old wooden bridge. It is across a valley, from one hill to another. When you walk on the bridge, on a clear day, you can see the distant ground through the cracks in the floor. On rainy days, you can see clouds below your feet. Sometimes it will be sunny above you, but raining below. Exhilirating! The new world just doesn't feel as nice as the old world. I suppose concrete and plastic doesn't have that human touch yet when compared to wood.

He is India's master chef and has thousands of great recipes there. Most of these are simple recipes, can be made in under 20 minutes and you can get all the ingredients in your neighborhood super market - atleast Giant Inc. has all of them. He has so many vegetarian recipes that I'm seriously considering whether I should become vegetarian - if only some one could cook these for me! Cooking with your spouse is a great way to relax on weekends - take my word for it.
