My luck keeps coming!

Why do Spaniards and the Dutch like me so much?

Two months after winning El Gordo lottery, I won the Dutch Overseas Lotto today. The Dutch company seems to be not as creative as El Gordo. They are using e-mail to announce winners --must be cutting costs. El Gordo was creative and resourceful enough to get hold of a bunch of international postal addresses and snail-mail the notifications.

Though I’m in a benevolent mood --I am from a middle class family in India and truly has difficulty counting this much money--, I’m thankful that I still have clouds way above my head.

Note to comment spammers: Here is a suggestion I’ve for souls wasting karma on comment spamming. Earn really good points from the guy above by communicating with overseaslotto@netscape.net and johnsonadams35@netscape.net.

Public Announcement: Dear African dictators, their secretaries and spouses; at this point my resources are very thin to process the money you want to share with me. Please find someone else to help you spend your money.

Full text of the e-mail I received is below. I suppose I’ve already breached the confidentiality and can kiss the money goodbye ;-)

  22. From Switzerland:I won too..what a wonderful start for year 2004???? US 615,810, not bad no..considering I never bought a lottery ticket ...will not bother sending my bank account details, though. Just for info, my so called claims agent is GAVIN WELLER
    Tel +34 665 411 911
    Fax No: +34 665 416 643.
And the VP is Don M Lopez.

Out of curiosity, I did phone, and the phone was answered by a man who did ask me to fax the "PAYMENT PROCESSING FORM" attached, with some form of ID, driving licence or passport... I actually did not expect the phone to be manned. Needless to say I will not be sending any info.
I wonder where I should report these people.Just happy the letter came to me and not to my parents.
